This narrative review aims to frame the evolution of the debated concept of clinical remission as an ambitious and now concretely achievable outcome in modern asthma management, to highlight correct management of inhaled therapies, oral corticosteroids and biological drugs in this context, and, finally, to provide clinicians with insights that could be useful to achieve remission in the greatest possible number of patients.
