The Educational Section features articles across a wide range of topics covering guidance, opinions, Q&As, roundtables and summaries of interest to specific groups of healthcare professionals. The articles in this section are published to a high standard but are not indexed in PubMed though they may be cited using their specific doi number. The intention is to provide an opportunity to disseminate information, provide insight and stimulate discussion.

Enquiries: Are you interested in publishing in this section? Contact the Editorial Office with your proposal. Please supply the following information: background, topic/title of the section, source of editorial, authorship, single or multi articles, word count. A quote for publication will be given once these details are established.

Process: We will work with you to ensure that manuscripts are reviewed and published in a rapid manner. Upon receipt of manuscripts, we will review the content (with external assistance, if requested or required).

Charges: Charges for publication in the Educational Section vary according to scope, extent and language (foreign language reviews are charged by the reviewers). Please contact the Editorial Office for a quote.

Indexing: Following revision, accepted papers will be published in the Educational Section. (Some articles may also be suitable for regular indexing – this will be discussed and agreed upon before any project is started.)

Sponsorship: All sponsorship must be declared on published papers, as is standard for the publication of any article.
